Site Supervisor – Construction – Job Description Position: Site Supervisor – Construction Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The successful candidate will ensure work is completed according to approved plans, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities and site workers. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure construction work is carried out according to drawings and specifications. Monitor the quality and progress of construction work. Allocate work to workers and monitor their performance. Ensure proper use of construction materials and equipment. Maintain daily site records and progress reports. Identify and report site issues, delays, and technical problems. Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements. Coordinate material requirements and deliveries to the site. Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed as scheduled. Conduct regular site inspections. Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Site Engineer. Requirements G.C.E. A/L or relevant technical qualification. Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction will be an advantage. Previous experience in a construction site supervisory role is preferred. Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices. Ability to read and understand construction drawings. Good leadership and team management skills. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Willingness to work at construction sites and travel when required.
