Job description
Key Responsibilities * Conduct site inspections for split air conditioning installation and maintenance projects. * Supervise A/C installation, servicing and repair activities. * Inspect air conditioning systems to identify technical issues and faults. * Diagnose breakdowns and recommend appropriate corrective actions. * Ensure proper installation and operation of split A/C units. * Monitor maintenance activities and ensure timely completion. * Coordinate with technicians and technical teams during site operations. * Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards. * Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams. * Prepare site inspection reports and maintenance documentation. * Coordinate with customers regarding installation and servicing requirements. * Monitor project schedules and ensure work is completed within deadlines. * Ensure compliance with company procedures and workplace safety regulations. * Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Handle multiple site inspections and assigned responsibilities efficiently. Candidate Requirements * Age below 35 years. * Higher Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering or equivalent professional qualification (NVQ Level 5/6). * Minimum 5 years of experience in air conditioning or refrigeration installation and maintenance, or comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of A/C systems. * Strong technical knowledge of split air conditioning systems. * Experience in servicing, diagnosing and repairing split A/C units. * Good understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning principles. * Ability to identify technical faults and recommend effective solutions. * Strong supervisory and team-management abilities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Good time-management and organizational abilities. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. * Valid driving licence, including motorcycle riding entitlement, is required. * Candidates residing in Colombo or surrounding areas are preferred. * Responsible, hardworking and self-motivated personality.
