Job description
The company is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Shop Assistants to join its sales team. The successful candidates will assist customers, support daily retail operations, and contribute to achieving store sales targets while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance. * Help customers select suitable products and answer product-related questions. * Support the sales team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets. * Arrange, display, and maintain products neatly within the store. * Assist with cashier and payment-handling duties when required. * Monitor stock availability and assist with inventory-related activities. * Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly shop environment. * Handle customer inquiries professionally. * Support promotions and other day-to-day store operations. Requirements * Age between 20–40 years. * Fluent in Sinhala with basic English communication skills. * Friendly, polite, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented personality. * Previous experience in sales, retail, or cashiering is an advantage. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team.
