Job description

RN Constructions (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Engineering department at our Baththaramulla, Colombo office. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while adhering to quality and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and project managers to coordinate engineering activities, monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and implement solutions that drive project success. Your expertise will contribute to the sustainable development goals of RN Constructions, supporting innovative and safe construction practices. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. You will be expected to lead site engineering functions, oversee compliance with design specifications, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineering qualification
• University Degree in Civil Engineering
• University Degree in MEP Engineering
• Project Engineering experience in construction (3)
• Knowledge of construction project management (3)
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (3)
• Experience ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards (3)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills (3)
