Sales Representative Industry: Industrial Hardware Position: Sales Representative Location: Colombo 04 / Field Sales Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary A reputed industrial hardware business is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to develop relationships with existing dealers, identify potential new dealers, and support the growth of the company’s sales network. The role involves regular field visits, customer relationship management, product promotion, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities * Visit existing dealers and potential new dealers regularly. * Promote and sell the company’s industrial hardware products. * Identify new customers and develop new business opportunities. * Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers. * Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities. * Introduce products and provide relevant information to customers. * Negotiate and close sales professionally. * Collect market and competitor information during field visits. * Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activities. * Work towards achieving assigned sales targets. * Prepare basic sales and customer follow-up reports. * Coordinate with the Colombo office regarding orders and customer requirements. Candidate Requirements * Male candidates aged 25–35 years. * Must possess a valid motorcycle driving licence. * Must be able to communicate effectively in Sinhala. * Ability to communicate in English and/or Tamil will be an added advantage. * Candidates should preferably reside within the Colombo area. * Previous experience in sales or a related field will be an added advantage. * Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Willingness to travel and conduct regular field visits. * Self-motivated, responsible, and target-oriented.
