Mobile Phone Technician Company: Chinthana GSM Position: Mobile Phone Technician Location: No. 101/A, High Level Road, Maharagama Salary: LKR 80,000+ per month Age: 18 Years and Above Job Summary Chinthana GSM, a leading mobile phone sales and repair company in Sri Lanka, is looking for an experienced Mobile Phone Technician to join its technical team. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in mobile phone hardware and software repairs, troubleshooting, component-level repairs, and smartphone servicing. Experience with iPhone repairs and IC-level work will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in smartphones. * Perform mobile phone software upgrades and troubleshooting. * Carry out legitimate device unlocking and software restoration where authorized. * Diagnose operating-system, firmware, and configuration-related issues. * Perform glass and screen replacements. * Carry out IC replacement and component-level repairs. * Diagnose motherboard and other hardware faults. * Repair charging, battery, display, camera, speaker, microphone, and connectivity issues. * Perform testing and quality checks after repairs. * Handle customer devices carefully and maintain accurate repair records. * Provide customers and management with clear information regarding identified faults and required repairs. * Maintain tools, equipment, and the technical workspace in good condition. * Follow appropriate data-protection and device-security procedures when servicing customer devices. Requirements * Applicants must be 18 years or older. * Previous experience in mobile phone repair and servicing is required. * Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting. * Experience with software upgrades, authorized unlocking, and device restoration. * Ability to perform glass replacement and IC replacement. * IC-level/mobile motherboard repair experience will be a major advantage. * Knowledge and practical experience in iPhone repairs will be an added advantage. * Good problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills. * Ability to work independently and complete repairs accurately. * Responsible and careful when handling customer devices. * Applicants from outstation areas are also encouraged to apply.
