Manager - IT and Network

Job description

The IT & Network Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, network systems, and technical operations. The role involves ensuring reliable network connectivity, maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure, managing servers and systems, resolving technical issues, and supporting employees with IT requirements. The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage IT projects and network security effectively. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain IT infrastructure and network systems. Configure and monitor LAN/WAN networks. Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices. Monitor network performance, security, and connectivity. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Manage servers, backups, and IT systems. Implement network security and access controls. Provide technical support to staff and users. Maintain IT assets, systems, and documentation. Coordinate with internet and technology service providers. Plan and implement IT infrastructure improvements. Lead and support IT projects and technical teams. Requirements Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking. Practical experience in network administration and IT infrastructure. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, and switches. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
