Heavy Vehicle Driver Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious **Heavy Vehicle Driver** to join our team in **Colombo**. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles safely, ensuring timely delivery and transport of goods/materials, and keeping vehicles in excellent working condition. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate heavy vehicles (trucks, tippers, or transport vehicles) to and from designated locations. * Inspect vehicles prior to operation to check tire pressure, fuel, oil, and overall safety condition. * Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery documentation, and time records. * Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded properly and safely. * Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company guidelines. * Promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to management. Requirements & Qualifications * **Age:** Under 40 years of age. * **Experience:** Minimum of **3+ years** of proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver. * **Licensing:** Valid heavy vehicle driving license. * Good knowledge of roads and transport routes in and around Colombo. * Strong driving record with a high commitment to road safety. * Physical fitness and ability to perform routine manual tasks.
