Draftsman

Job description

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural, structural, and construction drawings while coordinating with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and site teams to meet project requirements. * Prepare architectural, structural, shop, working, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD. * Interpret architectural designs, structural drawings, and technical specifications. * Prepare detailed construction drawings and necessary revisions. * Ensure drawings comply with construction standards and project requirements. * Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and site teams. * Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all drafting work. * Apply knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing. * Manage multiple drawing requirements and meet project deadlines. * Use MS Office and other relevant drafting/design software when required. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in the construction or architectural industry, with a Diploma or professional qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Strong AutoCAD, communication, and teamwork skills are required.
