Restaurant Cashier Company: Indian Kitchen Position: Restaurant Cashier Location: Colombo 3 Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Indian Kitchen, a leading restaurant in Colombo 3, is looking for a friendly, responsible and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join its growing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments accurately while providing excellent service. Key Responsibilities * Handle cash, card and other customer payments accurately. * Operate the restaurant POS/cashier system. * Issue bills, receipts and correct change to customers. * Verify transactions and maintain accurate cash records. * Assist customers with billing and general inquiries. * Coordinate with restaurant and service staff regarding customer orders. * Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter. * Complete daily cash balancing and report discrepancies when required. * Provide friendly and professional customer service. * Follow company cash-handling and operational procedures. Requirements * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong customer service attitude. * Accurate, responsible and trustworthy. * Basic numerical and cash-handling skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment. * Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role will be an added advantage. * Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
