Cashier Position: Cashier Industry: Hardware / Retail Location: Kiribathgoda / Makola Gender: Male / Female Age: 18 Years and Above Salary: LKR 50,000+ per month Job Summary A hardware company located in the Kiribathgoda / Makola area is looking for responsible, friendly, and reliable Cashiers to join its team. The successful candidates will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining accurate transaction records, and providing efficient customer service. Key Responsibilities * Handle cash, card, and other customer payments accurately. * Operate the cash register/POS system. * Prepare bills, invoices, and receipts for customers. * Ensure correct prices and quantities are entered during transactions. * Maintain accurate daily cash and transaction records. * Balance the cash register and report any discrepancies. * Assist customers with payment-related inquiries. * Coordinate with sales and stores staff when required. * Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter. * Follow company cash-handling and security procedures. Requirements * Male or female candidates aged 18 years or above. * Basic numerical and cash-handling skills. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Honest, responsible, and reliable. * Good attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Previous cashier or retail experience will be an added advantage.
