Audit Trainee – Job Description Position: Audit Trainee Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for motivated and career-focused Audit Trainees to join our audit and assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are pursuing CA Sri Lanka qualifications or a relevant degree and wish to develop practical experience in auditing, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting audits of companies and other organizations. Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules. Check accounting records, invoices, payments, and other financial documents. Assist in testing internal controls and financial transactions. Perform bank, receivable, payable, and other account reconciliations. Assist in preparing financial statements and audit reports. Support senior audit staff during client assignments. Assist with taxation and accounting-related work. Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and documents. Maintain proper audit files and documentation. Perform other duties assigned by Audit Seniors or Managers. Requirements Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka / CA Sri Lanka student or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Basic knowledge of auditing and taxation will be an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of MS Office and accounting software. Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
