Assistant quantity surveyor

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will support the Quantity Surveyor and project team in preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, tender documents, valuations, and project cost reports. Key responsibilities include assisting with measurements and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations, monitoring project costs and budgets, maintaining project documentation, assisting with interim valuations and variations, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have good numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Knowledge of construction cost estimation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
