Accounts Assistant

One of Sri Lanka's leading lifestyle and lingerie brands — with multiple retail outlets and a fast-growing online presence — is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role offers a clear path for growth: on successful completion of probation, the selected candidate will be promoted to Assistant Accountant. Key Responsibilities Handling daily accounting entries and documentation Managing payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records Supporting payroll and stock-related accounting functions Assisting the finance team with reporting and administrative tasks Liaising with branches and suppliers as required Supervising and guiding junior accounts staff where needed What We're Looking For Part qualification in AAT / CA / CIMA or equivalent Solid understanding of accounting principles Strong computer literacy, with sound Excel skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage What We Offer A friendly, dynamic, and supportive working environment A defined growth path — promotion to Assistant Accountant after probation The opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company Valuable exposure to retail and e-commerce finance operations Send CV to 0762501899
