Accountant (Female) Company: Nemco Lock (Pvt) Ltd Position: Accountant Location: No. 26B, Quarry Road, Colombo 12 Age: 23–40 years Employment: Full-Time | Immediate Vacancy Job Summary Nemco Lock (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a responsible, experienced, and detail-oriented Female Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, and taxation-related matters. The successful candidate should have sound accounting knowledge and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial information. Key Responsibilities * Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions. * Maintain accurate company accounts and financial records. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents. * Handle taxation-related matters and maintain relevant documentation. * Perform bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations. * Monitor outstanding payments and financial balances. * Assist with monthly financial reports and account preparation. * Maintain proper records for audits and statutory requirements. * Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time. * Maintain confidentiality of company financial information. * Provide accounting and financial support to management when required. Requirements * Female candidates aged 23–40 years. * Previous experience in accounting and taxation is highly recommended. * Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Strong numerical and analytical skills. * Good organizational and record-keeping abilities. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Responsible and able to work independently. * Computer literacy and knowledge of accounting software will be an advantage.
