Accountant (Head of Accounts Department) We are a well-established vehicle service company located in Biyagama. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Accountant to take full responsibility for the overall operations of the Accounts Department. Experience and Qualifications • Age between 35 – 45 years. • Over 10 years of experience in the accounting field. • Professional qualification in Accounting (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA) or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in handling the full Accounts Department independently. • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems. • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, costing, budgeting, and financial control. • Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations and statutory requirements. • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and team management skills. Duties & Responsibilities • Take full responsibility for managing the entire Accounts Department. • Supervise, guide, and monitor Accounts Department staff. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Develop and monitor employee sales targets in coordination with management. • Oversee costing processes and ensure proper financial control of the organization. • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and overall financial performance. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements. • Work closely with management in financial planning and strategic decision-making. • Manage and maintain the ERP system related to accounting functions. • Provide timely financial insights and reports to support business growth.
